Year of Jubilee

The concept of "Jubilee" is powerful. Put simply, it represents justice, community, renewal, liberation, and dignity. Jubilee Year L.A. is that concept in action. If these are things that inspire you, that you believe in, a year of service with JYLA may be a perfect way to turn inspiration into practice, beliefs into tangible change.

Legacy of Service

Founded in 1991 as the Episcopal Urban Intern Program (EUIP), Jubilee Year has been responding to the needs of our community and serving Los Angeles for over 30 years.

Our fellows have touched thousands of lives through service, community building, and changemaking in partnership with more than 50 of L.A.'s most innovative and effective community-minded organizations.

Committed to Justice

Each fall, Jubilee Year recruits young adults from all over the world to learn, live, and serve. More than 225 young adults have exemplified a commitment to growth and justice as fellows with JYLA. Through our continued dedication to community and to service, we're empowering a new generation of changemakers for the world.

This is an experience like no other.
